Take heart

A heartening 72% of you are encouraged by what you’ve read on the blog – but do believe groups need to push harder (50% want residents to push harder and 22% want the Council to push harder).

11% aren’t terribly hopeful – 8% are discouraged and doubt anyone will do anything while 3% are neither encouraged nor discouraged, but think Southampton Way is what it is and there isn’t anything we can do about it.

17% of you felt differently to the choices provided and your comments are posted individually in the comments section for this post.

I think the residents and the council need to push harder together.

I am encouraged by there being so many people interested in improving S. Way, but discouraged by the nature of improvements they propose which on the whole miss the point quite badly

I believe the council need to be pushed harder by the actions of local residents and entrepreneurs. As it stands not enough is being done to raise the profile of Camberwell north of the Camberwell Church St/Peckham road.

There's so much potential in the area, the residents are already pretty active as a community, but it needs not just Council support and calming words- it needs cash- real investment and less talk.

Slightly encouraged. Hope something is happening, but don't trust that it really will

We aren't aware of any plans for Southampton Way's future.
